Quite a hard ride with a fully loaded touring bike, weighing in at about 35kg in total. Carrying food for several days, clothes, even if planned to change minimalistcly, for 10 days plus Camping equipment and 5l of water doesn't make this bike a lightweight road bike. And lacking the latest ultralight

From Norra Dellen Campingground to Sundsvall. My worst day of the whole event. Not because of the landscape or the rain or grumpy companions, but simply because of pain. My whole left thigh burned like hell, all day long. Even the night was awful. That day almost made me quit. But somehow I found the strength to just wait for the next day. Plus, the only day I had some issues with my bike, leading me to the biggest bike workshop around Sundsvall and getting my tires changed. Cost a fortune, but was totally worth it. No further issues for the next almost 2000km... Never attempt to tackle something like this on specific race tyres. I was running them tubeless and that might have been my luck, but it certainly wouldn't have for much longer, as the sealant had spread itself all over the bike. Taking the "old" tyres off showed that there was almost nothing left in them...

From Värnamo to Örebro. Crossing Linköping, having a longer break in Gränna, which acted as Checkpoint No.1 for us (No.3 for all those who have started in Rovereto, Northern Italy...), riding all the way up north along the famous lake Vättern and far beyond its northern tip to finally reach the small town of Örebro.
