We set off in glorious weather. Our destination was Hallopark. It was bitterly cold, but birds were already chirping everywhere. Lots of spring flowers were growing in sheltered places. Very nice for a walk. Good paths, enough benches, lots of water with white bridges. It would be beautiful when the rhododendrons are in bloom. There were preparations for lighting up the park, hence the colorful lights. Unfortunately, the café was only open from midday, next to it was a nice playground and a park shop.

A short walk through Hooksiel in beautiful weather. We parked at the swimming pool and then walked along the dike to the Old Harbor. We walked through town to the ice cream parlor...they have delicious waffles there. We also visited the new "Friesenpfoten" shop, of course, and bought a new stuffed animal
