Landschaftlich ist die Wanderung eher langweilig, auch ist sie leicht, mit kaum Steigungen. Doch die historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren einmalig interessant. Die Kommende des Deutschen Ordens ist leider verlassen, doch es ist eine unglaublich imposante Anlage. Das Haus Welschenbeck dagegen ist klein aber edel, mit hervorragenden Kuchen.
