Not a bad hike but beware of boggy field around Honeykiln Farm (had to divert). Also, when I entered the first field about 20 cows started running towards me. I had no idea they could run so fast! However, when I started swinging my walking pole up and down they did an about turn and stampeded the other

Very strenous walk. Tough climb to start, rocks and boulders all along the Edge, then rocks and boggy ground along Snake Path. But if you like the challenge you will enjoy the great views. (Couldn't find the crossing over the river at the beginning and ended up with a wet foot :-( ).

Pleasant, easy walk with little climbing and a few nice fellow hikers to talk to occassionally but not busy.

After passing under railway and entering wood, the route given up to the quarry (Smart tour by Komoot) was overgrown and impassable, so contoured around edge of wood to rejoin route near to path up to Roseberry Topping.

Fantastic walk. Stiff climb up to Wainstones at the beginning along paved trail and great views to your right over the patchwork of farm fields below. Dry trails in June 2023 and they look like they should be quite dry even in winter. No trail visible after waypoint 3 across grass field, just keep to

Fantastic, picturesque walk on a sunny day, but stiff climb near start was hot work. Have replanned since some of the route given by Komoot was not doable (better to go left at the campsite not right). The car park was full when I arrived on Saturday at 11:30 but there was still parking on the access road into the car park.
