On this tour there are secret corners in the nature park to be discovered if you do not take the ferry from Coswig to Wörlitz, but take a detour to the Fläming on the right bank of the Elbe.
Immediately after Coswig you get to Buro, where you will find the crusader estate Buro, which has 800 years of history around the Teutonic Knight Order. Continuing through the villages of Klieken and Luko, you pass the typical Fläming churches. From Thießen to Dessau there is a small café mile with many refreshment stops. Starting with the Hammercafé at the Kupferhammer, on to Mühlstedt to the newly opened Hofcafé at the Alten Pfarrhaus (since July 3rd, 21st), to the farm shop in the Waldpension Buchholzmühle and finally in the Ritterklause at the Wasserburg Roßlau shortly before Dessau. Everything in the middle of the beautiful Fläming landscape!
A nice Sunday outing for the family (:

At the Gröberner See, a closeness to nature is the focus and a modern holiday resort attracts those looking for peace and quiet, families and water sports enthusiasts to the Düben Heath.Today the lake and forest resort of Gröbern is located directly on the Gröberner See, where you can swim and fish. Stand-up paddling is also possible; Bicycles, row boats, canoes and rafts can be borrowed. A large children's playground, boulder garden and the wildlife enclosure at the Seekate are available for the little guests. Courses can be booked at the diving school on the lake.If you want, you can extend the tour a bit and make a detour to the manor in Burgkemnitz and / or drive through the factory settlement in Zschornewitz.

UNESCO World Heritage tour through Saxony-AnhaltFrom Quedlinburg to Lutherstadt Wittenberg
With a bike tour from Quedlingburg to Lutherstadt Wittenberg, five of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in Saxony-Anhalt can be connected! From the UNESCO World Heritage city of Quedlinburg, the Aller-Harz Cycle Path leads to the neighboring Harz city of Bad Suderode and touches the European Cycle Path, which runs from west to east and through the heart of the Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg World Heritage region. The other four UNESCO World Heritage sites are concentrated here within a radius of 35 km. In total, you cycle across the country for a distance of approx. 190 km.
In addition to the many cultural highlights on the route, nature lovers will also get their money's worth. Starting with the Harz National Park, the Europaradweg leads through the Harzer Seeland, the Salzland district shaped by the eponymous mineral treasure, on through the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park to the first UNESCO highlight - the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm. Together with the UNESCO Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve between Dessau and Wittenberg, you go on a discovery tour through the impressive variety of natural treasures in Saxony-Anhalt.

The garden kingdom tour is after Prince Leopold III. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau, the creator of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm. His ideas and reforms become recognizable in this way. The total of approx. 70 km long cycle route leads through the unique Elbe landscape, the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve and connects a variety of sights with the castles and parks in the UNESCO World Heritage Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz.This decelerating tour is particularly recommended in spring / summer when the weather is nice. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments and / or picnics along the way.The team from the Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg World Heritage region wishes you lots of fun in the countryside.

This round lake tour is great as a small family excursion. Those who are only visiting the area can also rent bicycles at the Ferropolis information point.
On the area of today's Gremminer See there was an active opencast mine until the 1990s. The name of the lake is due to the place Gremmin, which was formerly at this point.
From all locations on the lake you have a great view of the excavators of the "City of Iron". The water quality is very good, so that you can also take a bath break.
      Have fun cycling and sightseeing,
wishes you the World Heritage Region Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg
