Without a plan, but thanks to Peter's local knowledge, we enjoyed a lovely walk through southern Elmshorn.
Historical Note:
The Danes built the Kruckschanze fortress here, roughly in the area of today's old sewage treatment plant. The street names "Kruck" and "Vormstegen" are still preserved today.
