Toller Ausblick – Hohe Straße Runde von Rotterode
Wanderung hat mit Hochnebel begonnen. Die schönen Ausblicke somit vertrübt. Anfangs stetig bergauf und fast nur Wald!? Rennsteig halt! Kurz Querfeldbeet, Vorläufer hatte ne Sackgasse angesteuert. 😉 Ansonsten gute Wege, fast zu gut. Mag eher Wald- und Wiesenwege... Zur Halbzeit öffnete sich der Wald, die Sonne kam und man konnte Wiesen und Landschaft sehen. Kein hoher Anspruch, aber in Gesellschaft gut zu wandern. Einkehrmöglichkeit vorhanden, bei mir allerdings zu. Oder besser... hatte nicht vor alleine einzukehren.🫣

The Celtic village is interesting, and the Öchsenberg offers a great view.
Trails of all shapes and sizes are easy to walk.
With 18 km and over 500 meters of elevation gain, you should be relatively fit. I would recommend the Öchsenberg as a starting point...
