Moderately difficult hike, partly over gravel roads, partly over steep rocks. You walk partly on the ridge and, if the weather is right, you have a wonderful view of the Alps on one side and Lake Maggiore on the other. Wonderful tour past mountain streams up to the hut with overnight accommodation. Even on Saturdays there is relatively little going on on the route. However, you need a bit of stamina, because the route is relatively long, although easy to walk on. Really a beautiful panorama.
