And again a great mountain bike tour is behind us and the weather, the group and the route were perfect. Only the Windsattel Trail is currently not accessible. If you want to follow the tour, you shouldn't plan the connecting trail between Windsattel and Alte Harzstrasse. Otherwise, the tour has very demanding sections including the steps to the Grumbacher pond and at the very beginning of the tour the connecting piece between Borchersweg and Herzberger pond. The other trails are sometimes muddy but good to ride. Nettle and blackberry twigs keep the concentration high 😉 In the end, the chilled wheat beer tasted twice as good as usual.

On November 7th, 2020 we followed this tour in great autumn weather. Difficulty level was max. S1. The trail tour follows flowing trails from Seesen to Wildemann. Along the Schildau it goes through the Steinwaypark and from "Polter Rudi" on over the trout climb up towards the Neckelnberg hiking hut. We continue to Wildemann on forest paths until shortly before Wildemann a great trail leads down to the meadows above Wildemann. From Wildemann we went back to Seesen via the Lautenthaler Kunstgraben, the Lautenthal geological nature trail and the Tränkebachhütte. Of course we took the trail from the Tränkebachhütte 😉 Here is a link to a short 2-minute film. In total, you need a good 4 hours of time with photo and drinking breaks. Have fun with the trailer.
