From the Senkele car park or Hotel Haflingerhof (inn with very tasty food). Beautiful round partly through the forest, but also over cattle pastures. Great view of the mountains and the Hopfensee. Total walking time approx. 3 hours. If you want to enjoy the views and make stops along the nature trail

Beautiful hike along meadow paths along the Schwarzach to Thann Castle. 2 steeper sections to the castle or in the direction of Altenthann. Refreshments available in Burgthann and Altenthann. The way back goes partly through the forest along a brook. Towards the end a very idyllic place to rest or splash around in the creek.
