Been wanting to do this for a while. Last time the weather was too bad.
So with no kids or dog. Off we went early morning to get it done. Am I glad we did. Would not have liked to have done striding edge any windier.

Take this walk from Baslow up a fairly steep road up onto the moor up to the Wellington monument with views of Chatsworth house in the distance walk up Curbar edge to take in the beautiful rolling hills. Then its back down the hill to make your way up towards Bank wood where if you visit in bluebells

Fewston Reservoir is the perfect walk for those looking for a bit of scenery and nature not too far off the beaten track. In fact there are well maintained paths all along this walk. Those with pushchairs will find it a breeze. There is a stretch of road to walk right at the start with no paths. Cars

Take in this stunning walk in the Peak District. Enjoy the beautiful construction of Derwent dam as you set out. Follow the dam round, then its off the beaten track and up into the hills. A nice little stroll around Flamborough Head.
Not every walk gas to be grand. This is a lovely way to get some wind in the hair and fresh air in the lungs.
A very easy walk about 1:30 moving tilme.
When out with the family its time out to enjoy those precious moments.
