Just turned this wonderful round! It was really a hellish fun especially in the beginning of hell! The rest of the tour leads through beautiful forests and impressive rock formations. Our German Pinscher bitch has great fun climbing around Kraxeln and she is now flat and satisfied in the shade of gardening! :)

Beautiful and very varied hike. Lots of opportunities to cool down in the Polenztal. The lattice steps on the Hockstein are a bit of a challenge - but we were just able to carry our 15 kg dog up. : )

Nice round! Although many tourists are on the road during the day, the bastion and the surrounding (!) Viewpoints are always worthwhile! Since the crowd slows down in the afternoon and the tour is not too long, this is highly recommended as "Abendgassirunde" in the evening mood! :)

Very nice demanding hike. I recommend to hike this tour the other way round, as the descent over the Holy Stairs is very difficult. Better to go up the Heilige Stiege and at the end of the hiking tour leisurely hike down to Schmilka.
