Schöne Wanderung vom Hotel Hirschen in Sallneck durch das kleine Wiesental. Immer Winter sollte man in der Höllschlucht unbedingt Gamaschen und Steigeisen tragen, da die Wege sehr glatt und schneebedeckt sind. Im Sommer sollte man zumindest Wanderstöcke mitnehmen. Die Tour erfordert eine gute Kondition. Zum Abschluss ist wird eine Einkehr im Hotel Hirschen empfohlenen,welches sehr feine Gerichte (z. B Gulaschsuppe), aber auch Kaffee und leckeren Kuchen anbietet. Das Restaurant ist Montag und Dienstag geschlossen.

Easy hike with a steep section in between. Otherwise very good paths. The view from the tower is fantastic when the weather is nice. There is a barbecue area under the castle. On the way back I recommend a detour to the Café Landhuus in Wehr, which is also open on Sunday afternoons from 2 p.m.
