From the river park, turning towards the town of Cerasomma you arrive in Polla del Bongi and from there continuing towards Pozzuolo you intercept a fast path among the olive trees that allows you to return towards the Serchio river. From Ripafratta you continue towards Nozzano/Balbano and then towards

Despite the rains of the last few days, the route is perfectly doable in every part. The arrival on the west side allows a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea that is worth the effort alone.

Nice route to do in both directions, easily. The climb towards Tirli, from the Punta Ala side, is about 10 km, most of which is shaded. In Tirli there are at least two fountains to refuel. Once in Tirli, continue towards the Poggio Ballone radar base where the road ends and the route through the woods

Consigliato!

Castiglione Cala Violina Tirli Poggio Ballone & return!!
Fantastic tour!! Departure and return to
Castiglione della Pescaia (which alone
is worth the excursion). Following various
paths, and along the cycle path, you
arrive at Cala Violina touching very little
asphalt. Time for a view of the bay and
off towards
