About Marco K.👣
- wohne nahe Hamburg und wurde 1971 geboren
- bin verrückt nach wilder Natur
- liebe das Alleinsein in einsamen Gegenden
- habe mit meiner Frau schon einige Fernwanderwege in Europa erkundet
- "quäle" meine Kinder mit jährlichen Wanderurlauben... ;-)

As the light was fading, I quickly did a little round in my home hunting ground, the Holmer Sandbergen. A fantastically beautiful mixed forest with large inland dunes.
(Barefoot grade 1-: The round runs exclusively on narrow natural ground paths without a single gravel stone. The only challenges are the

Today I did a round in local areas. Unfortunately, the photos are a bit dreary and serve more to document the condition of the path or the underground. In the forest, you mostly walk on narrow beaten paths, which will probably overgrow in the spring and could then be quite tick-heavy. In the southern

After a long komoot abstinence, I went for a lap alone today in fantastic weather...barefoot, of course, as always ("barefoot rating" 3: a lot of rough asphalt/slab paths in the first half, very pleasant on the dike but a bit uneven with a few thistles.).

Hello my dears,
After 2 weeks of bathing / hiking and cultural vacation in Croatia with the family, I went on a solo tour again today. I was encouraged to do so by Fred and Gerhard, who had already been hiking in this corner.
Unfortunately, my conclusion is quite negative, even if the area itself is very

Today we made a small round at Albersdorf towards the Kiel Canal and then briefly visited the Stone Age Park. In principle, the round is very nice and varied, but unfortunately it has a few straight pieces that stretch a little ... especially with children. Since it took us quite a long time to cover

Today we were again in the Lüneburg Heath, this time we went south from Oberhaverbeck. I don't have to say anything about the landscape to the heath, it looks fantastic almost everywhere. However, the round was not really convincing, as the first third (the north-eastern part) was almost perfect and

Many thanks to everyone who has posted tours in this great forest, without you I would never have come here 😀. Similar to the Harburg mountains, this beautiful mixed forest is slightly hilly and crossed by numerous narrow paths. We also had no problems with mosquitos, only ticks are of course easy to

Today we did a wonderful family tour in the Lüneburg Heath (... me barefoot as always). The weather was a bit "mixed" and a spontaneous thunderstorm started on the Wilseder mountain. We just made it to the Wilseder Museum and stayed there for about 20 minutes until the thunderstorm was through (... that

After the question arose in our community as to whether the historic church climb to Wedel still exists and can be climbed, I gave it a try. The answer is: yes, but... :-)
Theoretically, the path is accessible throughout, although of course I don't know to what extent it really corresponds to the historical
