OoO day and a day full of things to do in before an intense Bachelor Party tomorrow (mine) to attend. Nice weather finally, and the melted budyń waniliowy/czekoladowy I was in the last days went back to regular pseudo-solid shape.

The long, awaited, 4000 kms
Finally reached the 4000 Kms in 2026. Which basically was the whole of 2025, as this year I am aiming at 5000 Kms.
Improvised a tour of the north western usual hills, got down to Czernichów and came back from the classic Łaczany.
It might not be Tour de Pologne…

A Sunday on Hills
Had different and abroad plans for today but I slept badly and woke up late.
Planned instead a Sunday on Hills, visited very nice places, lots of Sunflowers and a wonderful memorial of the Bitwy pod Racławicami, from the 1794 resurgence against Partition.

Hair Dryer Switched on?
Cycling with 36°C was a sort of torture, but I have to put some Kms before the real last month of rides.
It felt like cycling with a hair dryer switched on waving at my face. For 3+ hours.
Tomorrow I will have some teeny tiny trip at least :)

Fastest time ever to Tarnów
Not the greatest weekend to witness the World Cup or the most boring Tour De France since the 2016 edition.
But hey, thought it was impossible to beat my 3.32.33 from my flat to Tarnów's Rynek I did last year

Planned a long ride today to see a ton of stuff between Śląsk and Opolskie.
Visited the abandoned JPII monument in Częstochowa to start

Was asked this morning if I prefer cycle in the rain or in the heat, decided to demonstrate it with facts.
Decided to try to get out of my typowy Zone 2 type of ride and try to push in the heat for zone 3/4
