Gilpin trail (return via road)
Easy slightly downhill trail. Rubber boots for tent at the trail head, but if you don’t mind wet feet it’s totally fine with sandals. A stick can help for balance on muddy parts. You don’t need a guide, just politely decline or come after 1400 when they have left.
