After a good 20 years, I found the old village again. From here you have a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. An absolutely quiet place where you only hear the birds singing. There was no one else on the hike except us. A perfect day

We are here at the Grimm estate with the “Landvergnügen”. From here we took a short bike ride to Wertheim am Main. It doesn’t get any more remote than this. You don’t have to travel far to find beautiful places in Germany. Provided the weather plays along. 😉
