I honestly wouldn't recommand taking this side of the pass (Galibier), unsure about the other side though. This one was flooded with loud motorcyclist, most of them accelarating while passing, very unpleasant, unlike other climbs in the region (Croix de Fer was very calm)
The view is amazing at the top though !
