The Hideaway Apartments

Ciao!​ We’re Ash & Angie, a British/Irish couple who love the mountains.

After spending years working across Europe in mountain resorts for companies like Crystal, Inghams and Neilson, we've put down roots right on the edge of the Gran Bosco National Park, just minutes from the ski lifts of Sauze d’Oulx and the Via Lattea ski area.

Ash is the founder of Monsguide – your expert guide to the mountains, and loves sharing insider knowledge and top tips with our guests, so you can make the absolute most of your holiday. He’s a passionate snowboarder, although he can sometimes be convinced to ski, too.

Angie is a writer and when she’s not working on a book or updating our blog, she loves to go hiking in the forest (just one minute from the front door) with our Australian Shepherd, Wilson. She skis and snowboards, but will happily have a long lunch on the mountain, enjoying the views, too.

Our perfect day would involve doing outdoor sports, whether hiking, biking, climbing, skiing or snowboarding, followed by sampling incredible food and wine at a local restaurant. And with over a decade of experience in the travel industry, we’re passionate about helping our guests to have a holiday filled with your own perfect days.

If you watched A New Life in the Sun on Channel 4, you might have seen us during our renovation journey — turning our old Italian farmhouse into modern, self-catered apartments designed for skiers, snowboarders, explorers and adventurers.

And we're now working on renovating our own home, too!
