What a day!

We left the Faro Sun life Hostel near the airport and were immediately onto a smooth gravel track. The route then crosses the railway and winds up along some technical singletrack and trails signposted as part of the Algarviana link trail. We were travelling in November - it was overcast but a comfortable

On paper Day 3 looked to be a much easier day. We woke to an enormous breakfast spread. As the only guests in the large hotel it felt quite spooky.
I had plotted the route to head back into Monchique before rejoining the Via Algarviana. The section for the first 5km required lots of pushing our bikes
