Relatively easy walk from car park. We made mistake of following path to the right of the hill and encountered heavy mud and steep slopes. Going left after small bridge is definitely easiest way. Suitable for anyone who can walk , we met families with kids 5+. Great views from top.

Not the route I had originally planned but due to unforeseen road closures i followed this route . Road from Neilston to Dunlop was very poor condition wise, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone . Going thru Stewarton was a nightmare, traffic lights / roadworks in town centre.

Done this route before but usually clockwise ie; with the marshy steep part first. This time we done it anti-clockwise and found it a lot easier.
