This is a nice circular walk around the reservoir. Lots of places for pooches to be off lead if there's no sheep around, and free parking on the road. Worth a visit.

Lots of free parking at Sale waterpark, we walked from here over the Mersey and around Chorlton Ees. You can lengthen this walk but doing a loop around either Sale or Chorlton warterparks, and stop for a spot of lunch at the Jacksons Boat or Treetops Cafe, both are dog friendly.

Lovely walk starting from the rangers hut, down and around Ridgebank Reservoir and back. Lots of places for pooches to be off lead and plenty of bins available too.
