This is a nice circular walk around the reservoir. Lots of places for pooches to be off lead if there's no sheep around, and free parking on the road. Worth a visit.

Lots of free parking at Sale waterpark, we walked from here over the Mersey and around Chorlton Ees. You can lengthen this walk but doing a loop around either Sale or Chorlton warterparks, and stop for a spot of lunch at the Jacksons Boat or Treetops Cafe, both are dog friendly.

Our walk started from the little car park next to The White House pub which is free but gets busy so get there early and avoid the pot holes! This is a lovely walk where well behaved pups can be safely off lead. Only downside is that the pub isnt dog friendly inside (real shame!).

Its marathon day in Sale so we've been exploring our local area. Starting on the canal, through Dainwell woods into the waterpark. Over the river mersey and then back towards the town center via the canal. The route has 3 dog friendly pubs, The Kings Ransom in the town center, The Bridge along the canal

A lovely walk from the the hill above Haworth down into the town where we stopped for lunch before heading back.

Lovely walk starting from the rangers hut, down and around Ridgebank Reservoir and back. Lots of places for pooches to be off lead and plenty of bins available too.
