We once again used the sunny weather to hike from the car park Burg Rabenstein to the Maria Josefa tower and back over the reservoir Rabenstein. The way to the tower is very good to walk or cycle. To get to the tower, you have to overcome 160 stairs. These can be handled well. Once at the top, you have a very beautiful panoramic view. The tower is located on the Totenstein, where is also an opportunity to strengthen. On the way back past the reservoir. This made a very nice and well-kept impression, unfortunately you did not come on the grounds, as it is separated by a fence. Arrived at the parking lot, we made a detour to the castle Rabenstein, which is located directly on the parking lot and not as usual, on a mountain.

In very nice weather we made our way to the castle ruins Anhalt. From the parking lot on the selkemühle it went uphill. It is a pity that the restaurant or the kiosk is no longer in operation. We ate well in both localities, after other walks, and had a drink. Many hikers regret the closure of the restaurant, where you could spend the night. But back to our tour. Shortly before that we took a shortcut to the castle ruin, so that we walked past the hiking box and had searched in vain for it on the site of the ruin. Due to the nice weather we also had a very nice view over the Harz. After the visit, it went back and the "search" for the stamp went off. It had to be switched on the Harzer Wanderapp and thus we have smirking found that the shortcut had brought us nothing. After this short hike, we continued to pick up the special cancel Kleebeck.

We were in Rhineland-Palatinate to visit and made a hike on Thursday. There are many viewpoints on the tour, where you can look in clear weather to Frankfurt. Finally, we recommend a stop at the Landgasthof Pfälzblick, where we ate a very good blueberry bag, but there are also very good tasting dishes to rent, in the Kastanienhof, very nice view!

The nice weather we used to go on a bike ride
We still get 2 special cancellation for the Lutherweg. It went uphill and downhill, but you could drive the slopes well. We would have liked to get the stamp on the Wippertalsperre, but because of some things the way would have been about 7 km long, on foot 3! On the way back we chose the path along the Wipper. The path was as good as passable, but a part was almost unusable by deep lanes of forest vehicles, so we went on foot (about 500 m), another part was by fallen trees, only on detours, continue to drive. But all in all, it was a nice tour with a nice environment.

from the monastery Banz near Bad Staffelstein, which today is a conference center and has a very beautiful church, we continue to the place of pilgrimage
Viezehnheiligen drove. In this place you can see a church that was unique to us. So much pomp and beauty we had not seen before and in addition this crowd, but it was nice to have experienced that once.

A walk in Lützen went to the Gustav Adolf Memorial and the Martzschpakt with its zoo. This tour is recommended for families with children. The zoo can be visited for free. Many animals and a nice playground invite you to linger. But there are also rest stops. A visit to the adjoining memorial is also worthwhile. Here you get an insight to the background of the Thirty Years War. In this war King Gustav II Adolf defeated the troops of Wallenstein and he fell here too. In 1837 the baldachim was built by Karl Friedrich von Schinkel and the Gedächtniskirche.

We made a tour through Komoot and did not smell bad when, instead of a bike course, there was a stairway ahead of us and we had to push the wheels down. Our tour was rated as easy, which we could not say. It was only uphill and downhill on field and meadow paths, many were also very narrow and extended, fair way, we must also say, for young mountain bikers determined a challenging route, we brought them to the limits and we had in the warm weather the Shorten round.
