Deutsche Bahn made me choose this rather unusual route. There is no RB 40 from Burg to Braunschweig, no RB 35 from Stendal to Wolfsburg, and no RB 47 from Braunschweig to my hometown. This rules out Wittenberge and Tangermünde as destinations. The Elbe river has a little more water than feared.
