From St. Anton am Arlberg to Pettneu am Arlberg over the Alps
A long hike across varied terrain, mostly at higher altitude. The route offers stunning views and several inviting huts along the way for refreshments. Overall, the paths are safe, fairly easy, and very rewarding. In a few sections, sure-footedness is required, with occasional cables available for extra support—but nothing extreme. The hike is very accessible for sporty hikers. Start with the cable car up to the Kappel summit and return by bus to St. Anton.
