Alan's GoTo walk. Quite a bit more overgrown than the last time we did it. Amazingly clear in the distance. Had the Police helicopter fly low over us - but i was too slow to get a photo!!

Very cold wind but otherwise almost perfect conditions. A bit wet under foot at times. Ignore the elapsed time - includes lunch and a lovely meal at the Keel Row pub.

Early morning start (met my guide at 1:45am) to climb the 5240 steps to the top in order to get a spot to watch the sunrise. Quick dash to the other side to see the shadow. Back down for breakfast at about 8:15. Brilliant.
