Probably the last gravel ride for this year. Sunday is the beginning of autumn and the weather is becoming more changeable. We'll see. In any case, it's a wonderfully flowing tour through the Nassau Nature Park, crossing the Lahn and up to the heights near Becheln (Taunus). On the left bank of the Lahn

Finally gravelled again. The conditions were perfect. First to Merenberg and then over the Vöhlerbachtal down to the Lahn to Burgsolms. There are a few changes on this section of the Lahn cycle path. On side roads through the beautiful Solmsbachtal. Between Weiperfelden and Espa you are at full height

From Burg it is a moderate climb to the Aartal reservoir. Shortly before that I turn into the interior of the Lahn-Dill mountain range. It only takes a few kilometers, and then 14 km of pure forest follow. The mountain marathon also takes place up there. Speaking of marathons, my Schwalbe Marathon Plus

Another tour in my much-loved Hochtaunus. This time to the Pferdskopf near Treisberg. The route is similar to the Feldberg tour, but there are a few changes. The journey goes through the Weiltal and then up to Treisberg. There are two fountains where I can cool off by dipping my arms into the pool. Only

I managed to do it on the second attempt. Komoot only contributed a very small part, but still. It goes up to Homberg (near 🦊 kaute). A short time later you are at the top and have a magnificent view of the Lahn-Dill mountain range. It now goes down to Waldaubach. The Aubach runs down to Haiger and

I rode the entire Weiltal Cycle Path from Feldberg to the Lahn River (48 km). So, no roads. Great for mountain biking. Only two significant climbs. This provides a really good flow. The GPS data for this route can't be found anywhere else online. The trail is signposted, but leaves a lot to be desired

It looks a bit like a llama. The route is designed to be as up and down as possible (17.3 m/km). It's also never far from home. It's definitely very varied. A mountain bike is ideal, as the surface is sometimes very rough. But it's OK without it. You also pass the stork's nest near Himburg. They've been
