Both the shorter and longer routes start the day again meandering through gravel tracks of Grizedale Forest up to Moor Top, before the long route cuts down on to a bridleway (8km) for a steep, lose descent into Hawkshead (10km). The two options for Saturday follow much of the same route, with this longer option adding in some more off-road miles, via a bridleway descent into Hawshead, a 10km offroad extension to the beautiful Moss Eccles Tarn, and a fun and punchy bridleway climb to finish the weekend with some fast gravel roads
