2nd part of the tour back over a pass, the "Col du Ratteau" (approx. 2690m). It felt like we only went uphill once and downhill once, but it was long and partly steep. The magnificent weather, the snack with a view of Mont Blanc, and the curious trout(?) in the mountain lake made up for it again.

First day of the circumnavigation of the "Auguille du Fruit" over 2 passes (each approx. 2640 m). We are slowly picking up speed 👍. Dreamlike weather and wonderful panoramas make the altitude meters bearable. The destination, the "réfuge du Saut", surprises with real showers and a "rustic" landlady

A relaxed start to the 2026 family hut tour. After an easy journey yesterday, a nice walk to the first hut. It was a real highlight, essentially what you imagine a hut to be: small, 1 large room for everything, an outdoor trough with running cold water (yes, very cold) as sanitary facilities, super nice
