Als Dorfkind ohne Auto in der Familie habe ich die ersten zwei Jahrzehnte meines Lebens nahezu alle Wege mit dem Fahrrad gemacht. That was nothing! Those who dock here by ship should better orientate themselves in the direction of Stavanger or Lysefjord. The way from the pier to the town center stretches over almost three kilometers of desolate main street through the commercial area. No footpath along the water. There is no shuttle
