I realised about 2 miles from the Bomber site that I had forgot my powerbank and my phone had less than 50% charge. I turned round then as Kinder Scout is a nightmare to navigate without a GPS. I made it back to the car with 7% left on my phone.
Might try this again in the future, albeit the large climb

I've done this twice now, it is a mother of a hike so be prepared. Bring lots of water and food if you have a water filter as its peat land there are lots of opportunities to use one so that could be a way to lower the weight of your pack
