Born in the summer of’57 and have spent my whole life growing older. Recent health concerns have made fitness a priority, but a leg injury took jogging off my list 3 years ago. I acquired a bicycle in June 2020 and I am really starting to enjoy riding again. Trickiest part is learning the shifting.
I work as a lifetime foster parent in a grouphome ministry. Riding a Triumph TigerExplorer motorcycle is also a passion. Riding the bicycle may prolong my motorcycle habit.

Been off bike several days, so this was rather cathartic. Pushed hard in some hills and maintained an 11.5 mph pace over distance of 6 mi. Increasing distance while increasing pace feels like double win.
I prefer evening rides but schedules are robbing my evenings, so looks like mornings are my new jam.
