Auf der historischen Rundtour nach Volkmannsdorf erlebt man gleich zwei bayrische Flüsse aus nächster Nähe. Hier mündet die Amper in die Isar. Auf alten Salzwegen, durch ehemalige Weinberge, über die Ausläufer des Gebietes, in dem die Schlacht von Gammelsdorf im Jahre 1313 tobte. Bei Föhn gibt es großartige Ausblicke auf die Alpen.
