Signed theme trail at the World Heritage.
The topic at the last ditch of the World Heritage "Upper Harz Water Management, which still serves its purpose of origin, the energy production, is the difficult construction of the ditch.
At no ditch in the Harz was the construction more difficult.
This is evident in the clutches of the cliffs and the steepness of the terrain that touches this ditch.
The hike leads along the Oderteich and three operated trenches of the world heritage "Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft", the Hühnerbrühegraben, the Sonnenberger and the Rehberger Graben.
A detailed description of the signage of the path along the Rehberger Graben can be found in the book
      >> WasserWanderWege, by Martin Schmidt, Edited by Harzwasserwerke GmbH << available in the museum shop of the Oberharzer Bergwerksmuseum and in the bookstore Grosse in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Large circular walk through the Upper Harz water industry.
About the fairy tale path to the only accessible point of the Flörichshaier Graben, the hike leads us further into the water catchment area of the largest dam in Germany, the Oderteich until 1892.
This storage pond served to supply the St. Andreasberg mining district.
Along the Hühnerbrühe Grabens, which holds the chicken broth and feeds it to the Oderteich, it goes on to the Silberfichten am Rothenbeeker Graben.
This leads the water from the catchment area of the sieves on the eastern flank of the break mountain the dam ditch.
For this way you will be rewarded with a magnificent view over the wilderness of the Harz National Park across to Brocken.
A hike of the extra class.
Further information about the UNESCO World Heritage "Upper Harz Water Management" can be found on the website grabenwaerter.de.

Especially beautiful meadow hike over the mountain meadows around Buntenbock.
The path leads past the water supply facilities of the former Rosenhöfer train in Clausthal.
Until 1980, this water management system was still in operation, feeding the water from the ponds, over the ditches and watercourses, to the turbines in Ottiliae Bay.
Today, the plants are largely part of the managed monuments of the World Heritage "Upper Harz Water Management.

Signposted theme hike on the Zellerfelder Kunstgraben, the main water supply of the Zellerfeld main train (Ottilia shaft gradient).
The topics of the hike are the winter operation of the trenches of the "Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft" and the former rafting in the Spiegeltal.
The varied path leads over the beautiful "Winter Meadow", the idyllic Spiegeltal and the Hochwald in the first part of the Zellerfelder Kunstgraben.
The water in the Zellerfelder Kunstgraben is today, as in the Nachnutzungsphase of the extinct Oberharzer mining, supplied to a power generation in a turbine plant in the Zellerfeld valley.
The entrance to this circular hike can be done well at waypoint 12 (Großer Kellerhalsteich) and at waypoint 3 (Spiegeltaler Zechenhaus).
At the starting point A there are few parking spaces available, but for technical reasons the starting point could not be relocated to waypoint 12 (Großer Kellerhalsteich).

Signposted themed path to the Schulenberg mining.
