Today a nice tour along the Weser with the Knobbers Gang Dieter and Christiane, Gasjosef, Dieter H. and Peter drove.
The start was in Helmarshausen towards Bad Karlshafen, from there it went on on the right bank of the Weser towards Launenförde, Mainbrexen, Fürstenberg, Boffzen, Höxter.
The actual destination was the World Heritage Site 🏰 Corvey Castle in Höxter.
After we had strengthened ourselves a little beforehand in Höxter, we then went to the castle 🏰.
At the castle, after we had determined what the entrance fee was, we decided to go to the church and paid 4 thalers for it.
After a sightseeing and photo tour through the church and over the Hoffmann von Fallersleben cemetery, we went back on the other side of the Weser towards Beverungen.
In Beverungen there was a sweet treat called ice cream 🍨😊.
From Beverungen it went slowly but surely back to the starting point in Helmarshausen.

Fortunately, the blue afternoon was chosen for the beautiful round instead of the dark morning 👍

Yesterday I was on the road again with Komootler Peter.
It all started in Guxhagen with foggy, hazy and slightly cooler temperatures.
The sun🌞 pushed its way through during the day (so that you could ride in short pants) and prepared us for a nice sunny autumn day🍂🍁🍃.
Along the Fulda-Radweg-R1 🚴🏻‍♂️🚵‍♂️ it was nice on the Fuldaufer towards Melsungen, where there were already beautiful sights and impressions on the way.
Our main focus today was mainly on the churches⛪, but other impressions were also photographed diligently.
Some churches were unfortunately closed and so we could only take pictures from the outside.
In Melsungen we first made a pit stop for food intake🍟🥩🥬🥒🥕.
Well strengthened, we continued on the R12 towards Spangenberg, where there were also many beautiful impressions and sights to marvel at.
Unfortunately, there was not enough time to marvel at and explore everything and so we started our way back.
On the way home there was another sweet seduction in Melsungen called Eis🍨🤣🤣.
On the way back, the sun slowly retreated, the temperatures slowly went down again and it got a bit cooler again.
Conclusion: All in all a nice sunny autumn tour, with many sights and wonderful impressions.
In any case, Spangenberg screams for a repetition.
My personal highlight for me was the grass racetrack in Melsungen, as I was often there with my father in my childhood and adolescence to watch the race.

Today rode a spontaneous bike tour along the Weser with Komootler Gasjosef and his heart of all dearest wife.
We started in Veckerhagen along the Weser, past some beautiful ferry stations where you can cross the Weser by bike or car or even if you are on foot, it first went to Bad Karlshafen, where there was something for the little hunger in between 🤣🤣🤣give, see Figure 48🤣🤣.
There is a beautiful little castle in Gieselwerder.
More information about the castle at eco-pfade.de/eco-pfad-burgen-museen-wasser-gieselwerder/gieselwerder/?L=.
After a little refreshment, we continued towards Beverungen past the old Würgassen nuclear power plant.
In Beverungen, the fountain and the church were one of our goals before we went down to the beautiful beach promenade, where you can also linger and chill out.
Before we went back towards Veckerhagen, we had a nice, delicious ice cream and coffee at the end of our tour
On the way back, at the advanced hour, we continued in the dark🌠🌟 and we were allowed to continue driving with the lights on.
Conclusion: All in all a nice spontaneous tour, with lots of fun, nice impressions and nice rewards.

Yesterday Komootler Peter, Dieter H. and me went to the Möhnesee in glorious sunshine.
The start was from a free parking lot near the barrier wall, which is very similar in construction to the Eder and Diemel dams.
After we crossed the barrier wall, we went on a well-paved bike path through 2 pieces of forest past the gatehouse towards the south bank.
At the end of the 2nd section of the forest we first drove to a snack bar "Zur Taucherbucht", where there was something for the little ones to get hungry in between.
Then it went on directly on the lake, where there are also beautiful places to linger and chill out, but there are also beautiful places in the forests that invite you to rest, chill out and linger, the destination was the Möhneseeturm.
The first way to the Möhneseeturm turned out to be difficult, as some obstacles had to be crossed, as you can see on pictures 45 and 46.
We then decided to turn back and take a well gravel forest path.
Once at the top, of course, it was also up, where you could enjoy a wonderful view.
After climbing the tower, we continued on the lake towards Völlinghausen to the Kanzelbrücke, which is a highlight for me due to its beautiful old construction.
After a short detour in Völlinghausen, we slowly walked back on the other side of the lake. To Körbecke, in Körbecke we discovered a church that is an absolute highlight due to its architecture inside.
Such wonderful craftsmanship is really great, even in Münster the churches and the cathedral were already very worth seeing - and admirable, but what I saw there was simply amazing.
From the church we went on to the beach promenade, where there was delicious ice cream 🍨, cappocino and coffee ☕.
After Dieter H. said goodbye to us, Peter and I drove further along the promenade towards the parking lot, then again to the barrier wall and then down again towards Günne to the power plant from there back to the barrier wall where there was a nice final photo .
Conclusion: A nice spontaneous tour that was definitely worth it.
It was a wonderful beautiful day.
Thanks to Peter and Dieter H. for being there.

Today a very spontaneous meeting with Komootlers Dieter H., Peter and Thomas at Käpt'n Tom.After a little refreshment and cooling or warm drinks, Dieter H., Peter and myself continued along the Fulda (where we also worked as hard-working breakdown helpers) to Büchenwerra for coffee ☕ and delicious cakes 🎂.From there back via Grifte and Hertingshausen, where Dieter H. of us then said goodbye.Up to Baunatal we were then only on the go in pairs. Conclusion: A nice spontaneous meeting, combined with a nice tour in glorious sunshine 🌞 what more could you want.
