After yesterday's mega tour, a little round today.
A forest hike around Hann.Münden ... from the train station it went through the city and then up into the forest, a view down to the city or to the Werra was blocked by the tall trees.
Nevertheless, the round was very decelerating, almost no soul, natural paths and a lot of protection from the sun.
Then the cozy half-timbered town of Hann.Münden invites you to a delicious ice cream or a cold beer 😀

The first time I went today at ARS Natura Challenge 2021 ... a beautiful tour with great works of art, beautiful nature and small villages. The weather was a dream and with the small group the 28 km ran all by themselves🤣A big thank you for the organization and all the helpers 👏

Arrived in the Passeier Valley, there was a leisurely round with little altitude to begin with. Instead, more village life, historical and biological. The start was in St. Leonhard, a nice little place with nice cafes and small shops, from there it went up the Andreas Hofer Weg through an idyllic piece of forest. Then it went downhill on the European long-distance hiking trail in the direction of St. Martin and back to St. Leonhard on the Passer on the waterway. In between there was an indication of biotopes and natural habitats.

Last day in the Jaufental before our South Tyrol journey continues. It started today at Maiern in the Ridnautal. A small tourist place at the end of the valley. It went uphill through the small village, initially on an economic path until we were at the beginning of the Burkhardtklamm. Water came down neatly from the mountain. Then it went very alpine up to the Aglsalm at 2004 m altitude. Short refreshment with a very friendly service, we continued up the mountain. The paths very narrow and partly secured with wire ropes led to the Pfurnsee at an altitude of 2500m. A mega view rewarded the climb.Deserted we enjoyed this distant view 🏔🏔🏔 luckily the weather held up and the clouds passed. When they arrived downstairs, they were happily exhausted and always shied away from going upstairs….

Starting at Schluppes (Jaufental), we are up to the Jauchenpass. On the ascent, we already enjoyed the great foresight into the Jaufental.Once at the top at 2000m, we were very fascinated by the mega-beautiful view. For several KM we were able to enjoy this view along the Jaufenkamm and take photo after photo. There are many places to stop for a break up there that invite you to linger. In the afternoon when the sun is lower, we are back down to the valley. A wonderful tour that is a lot to look at.
