Robetwist Trail (Black) Kranjska Gora.
From Kranjska Gora village it is a long climb through the forest from the Wurzon Pass up to the Austrian border.
The Robetwist trail is difficult and steep in places with not much flow and tight switch backs all the way down. Definitely for experienced riders only.

Quick loop from KG.
Short ride out to explore and open a new descent in the Karavanke- very steep bottom section with switch backs. Not as rider friendly as the descent further along the fire road. Also fallen trees across the trail in three places.

Kranjska Gora loop to Fusine
Opened up two new single track descents
- first one below Tromeja (very steep and no human there for years)
- second one descending from Fusine in Italy.

Just a leg stretcher. Explored a couple new trails but one was a dead end, the other I knew from coming the other way, so turned back.

Hiking the Orrido della Slizza canyon, Tarvisio 🇮🇹
Really nice trail along the Slizza river with a walkway and steep canyon sides. Similar to Vintgar but free, uncrowded and peaceful.

Begunje Sv Peter Loop
Easy up, very technical down. I had Andrew with me which made it a real challenge to get him down in one piece. Previous Komoot uploads that indicated an easy technical ride are very wrong. Be warned.
