I confess, I had a template for the tour - unfortunately I can't find the person who knew the route anymore 🙄. So if this tour looks familiar to you, please let me know so that I can express my personal thanks! The tour is beautiful, from the approach through Aachen onwards it is exclusively on small

Well, and then the Sunday after the Inden open-cast mine tour came, and the good opportunity arose to explore even more new territory under my wheels - and again Mrs. Blauauge had a hand in it...
We were in Hückelhoven for a sporting event organized by Mrs. Blauauge, and I had my bike with me to provide

Inspired by @Frank's big tour around the Inden opencast mine and motivated by Mrs Blauauge, I took advantage of the nice weather last Friday and ushered in the weekend with this 3/4 round trip, and what can I say, I am @Frank very grateful and still very enthusiastic about the route.

My favorite route for Sunday morning:
A wonderful little tour through the south of Aachen with wonderful views and mostly quiet routes on back roads. Only the last part goes through Aachen, but even then there is no significant traffic on the back roads in Forst and over to Aachen, especially at the weekend

So, the new bike wants to be ridden, so on Sunday morning we went on a quick tour before breakfast to improve our bodies and minds.
The paths are paved the whole way, a little up and down, mostly away from the main roads. I think it's worth doing!
Let it roll!!!

Sunday morning, 8:30 a.m., 6°C, blue sky, no wind - off we go to Teuven! For the round trip, my thanks go to @Jesko, whose tour suggestion from his very nice collection of racing bikes around Aachen I adapted for my purposes to start at Haaren.
Today only 53 km, but at least 760 meters of elevation
