This was a nice tour. Much of it follows the Rheinsteig. There are some wonderful views over the river and a number of benches and places to sit and take a break. The final climb from the valley at the end was almost just too much.

Rauenthaler Baiken – Riesling Loops

The route is short but has enough climbing to make one feel really good afterwards. This is a great walk to do after work even when it’s January. There are some wonderful views of the Rhine Valley and the vineyards along the entire route.
