This is a very nice family friendly bike ride. Car parks are in Ardrishaig (free parking), the canal towpath is very light gravel so perfectly fine for a road bike. I had to hurry back to Ardrishaig so I took the road back which was quicker than using the towpath again. At Crinan, three is a nice little

Very nice ride, mostly flat - check out the cool bridge as you enter Inverary (forgot to take a photo).

Nice flat ride just 11 miles one way on flat main roads. There is a cycle lane when going through Dunoon. Castle Toward is private property but nice views of Bute from the shoreline.
