At first, the bike path from Bratislava was very good, but eventually it ended in a gravel road. Then we went to Hungary and the city of Györ, which is highly recommended. I was very surprised by the bike paths in Hungary; wide, well-maintained paths, simply fantastic!

We've reached our destination after about 1,000 km. If you're taking a trip like this and choosing to return by train, it's best to book your return ticket with your bikes at the same time. There are plenty of train tickets available, but there aren't enough bicycle parking spaces on the train.
