Nearly Pen Yr Ole Wen summit
Fabulous climb up towards the summit, but just too cloudy and windy to risk the top. Came back down the same way and then had a bit of an adventure in a river and a bog. Regardless, lots of fun. We will return one day and do the original planned route

Bridge over the Test – Lovely view of the River Test loop from Whitchurch
Lovely day for a lovely walk. It was nice not having to wade through mud or floodwaters - the recent weather had pretty much dried up all the paths. Not the most interesting of routes in all honestly - lots of crop field edges and bland hedgerow paths, but as ever it's just nice to be outside.
