This walk takes you from Higham into Irthlingborough.. The followingthe Nene Way into Little Addington. Thee following footpaths into Finedon and back to Irthingborough. Phone went dead at 11.25 miles. I presume another 1.5 miles from that poiint to The Lakes. Great walk but too hot really.

Walked this with my young granddaughters. The footpath along River Nene muddy in the winter and slippery in front places

This walk starts and finishes in Market Square, Higham Ferrers. The walk follows The Greenway/Nene Way turning past Higham Lock and onto the old Northampton to Peterborough Railway Line. Follow this through Stanwick Lakes up to Woodford Lock. Then follow the Nene Way back to Higham walking through Woodford
