The hike or MTB tour starts from Kufstein (district Mittendorf). From the car park on the right uphill, it goes first to the Aschenbrennerhaus and on to the Kaindlhütte. In between are still the Brentenjochalm and a bit off the vineyard house.

On 31.12.2017 we made a hike from the parking lot "Gasthaus Zur schönen Aussicht, Rettenschöss" to the Wandberghütte. With hiking boots and spikes, the route was easily accessible. Snowshoes might have been even more ideal.
