Started behind the main church in Arco. 5 km to cascata Varone. 15 km to Lago di Tenno. Steady climb to Passo del Ballino. I like this part in the early morning when it’s just the sound of the forest, the little rivers and your rubber on the road. From the Passo it’s mostly down through Ponte Arche

Basically try to stay as close to the lake as possible without getting lost in the thick forest on the West side of the lake. The trail wasn’t the greatest or most well kept, and I might have gone off trail for a bit, but as you can see in one of the pictures it looks like they’re building the trail at the moment.

Probably the easiest access to Monte Altissimo with incredible view of Lago di Garda, Limone, Riva del Garda, Arco, the Sarca valley and some of the Brenta Dolomites.
Start from Hotel / Restaurant albergo Graziani (Via canalette, 1, 38060 Brentonico TN, Italy)
From there follow the dirt road (SAT 633
