On Good Friday we went on a wonderful hike between Holtensen and Hameln in cool but dry weather. Right now a lot is already blooming on the forest floor, but since the trees are not yet leafy, you can enjoy a wonderful view from many of the pathways. Part of the way leads over a trail and is very quaint

A wonderful tour through an area of great geological and scenic interest. The Rickbachtal is like a gorge. The paths are wonderfully laid out and offer families an exciting and varied tour. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back again when it has rained a lot and the small waterfalls come into their own.
