The weather forecast promised rain, but failed to deliver, so we had another pleasant day cycling door to door on protected cycleways from one hotel to the next, except for our detour to see an asbestos mine. This area was the centre of Canada's (and much of the world's) asbestos production. The town name was Asbestos, but recently renamed Val Des Sources (Valley of the Springs) after the mine shut down due to the product being banned. Lots of evidence of bear and beaver along the trail.

An amazing ride with perfect weather. The route is entirely on cycle paths until the last km when we turned off for our hotel. The cycling infrastructure here never ceases to impress - way-finding signage, rest stops, interpretive signage and good maintenance of this lineal park make it a treat to ride.

The bike route into Lèvis is the most impressive lineal park I have ever seen - landscaped, interpretive signage and views. We were on it for about 25 km.
