Today I had another day off and I used it for a trip to Caputh. I had this tour on my radar for a long time and adjusted it several times. After the rain had cleared, we started, start and finish at Caputh Castle, through the village to the ferry, on the bank promenade under the railway bridge to the lake view of the Schwielowsee. Albert Einstein was often my companion along the way through the nice little town. Then we went up the stairs to the Altmanngarten from which there is a wonderful view over Caputh and the Schwielowsee. From here on my GPS went crazy again and the recordings are again inaccurate and incomplete. In total it was 18km in about 4:30, and the values at Komoot are therefore not correct. From there it went back down to the riverside path at Schwielowsee. It meanders along the bank or up on the slope. Both had their charm and it was easy uphill and downhill as a result.

Oh, I was somehow not at all happy with this tour.
My planned distance of about 15km only took place correctly in the first third (was also the most beautiful part), then the GPS stopped repeatedly and completely. As a result, I unfortunately lost my way, e.g. also lost my way in the new building areas in Buch. In addition, many sections were closed or indicated by diversions. Two reasons, the company 50hz is building power lines there and generous, VERY GENEROUS, pasture areas have been created for free-range cattle. Because of the many NSGs, that certain urban experience didn't happen as I had hoped. Well, everyone feels differently. Recommendable? I do not know. Are more interesting areas.

TODAY it had to be again. YES, the desire had built up, the wanderlust of course 😊. A day off in between, used to do a planned tour. First of all, today was GPS problem day 😡. The tour was not continuously recorded and it was also about 16km instead of the indicated KM at Komoot, the cause research is ongoing 🙃.
But I was very impressed with this round. There were hardly any people around, probably deterred by the rain the day before, only the dog owners were represented in large numbers. It's amazing how many forest areas Berlin has in the city. 300m from the Silk Road you are in a completely quiet area. Along the jail (oh how depressing) it went across the Jungfernheide to Tegeler See and following the shore to Saatwinkel. SPLENDID! It's worth walking to the top and looking at the Wasserstadtbrücke from the Haveleck. The Saatwinkler Steg alone is impressive.

Today I was driven out again, a combination of a city tour in Oranienburg, a hike around the Lehnitzsee with a swim stop were on the program. Wonderful summer weather and a light wind made it pleasant for me. O-burg left an ambivalent impression on me. Sure, badly damaged by the war and building sins from older and younger years have given the place a peculiar characteristic. However, the historical buildings, churches and castle are beautiful to look at. The greenery and good paths also make visiting the city very pleasant. A tip for families, the T.U.R.M .. The hike around the Lehnitzsee was really wonderful. There are many official swimming areas and resting places. A nature trail is the constant companion around the lake, very instructive and well signposted, it describes the flora and fauna on the lake. Those who like nudism are in good hands near the lock in the bay 😊😉.

After an appointment, I actually just wanted to take a little walk ... and no photos at all ... and now that's come out. I have to work on my resolutions 🤭.
But as a resident there is always something new to discover. For example, so many different old lanterns, manhole covers with Berlin motifs ... and then I have to admit that our zoo is such a beautiful piece of earth in the big city, I had almost suppressed it. Now I will again aim for a separate zoo round to see all the sights. Oh yes, the tourists are back in town🤭

There's nothing like starting the week with a Monday hike. My hike led me around the Sacrower See, through the Königswald, along a piece of the Havel and back to the Sacrower bathing beach. The weather was perfect today and the mosquitoes were gracious to me. I was rewarded by hiking trails close to the shore which always gave beautiful views of the Sacrower See or later on the Jungfernsee, the Sacrow-Paretzer Canal and the Havel. The Heilandskirche was ideal for my picnic with a view of the water over the Havel to Glienicke Bridge. On the last third of the tour there were a few more crisp ascents and descents in the hilly forests. At the end of the day, it is worth stopping at the Landliebe inn on the Sacrower bathing beach. Have fun copying, nature and culture together, what more could you want?

Today there was another tour in Köpenick on the program. Start and end of Alt Müggelheim. To anticipate the end, the old inn in the village center is ideal for chilling out 😉🍻. The weather was oppressively humid, but the mosquitoes held back discreetly. A small, fine round with a swim stop and a pleasantly small audience made the shore landscape a beautiful experience 🙂
