From Schenna take bus 231 to Merano. From there, cross the bridge to the church and then go up the stairs to the promenade. We hike above Merano in the direction of Algund and take the Walweg trail for a while. After about 5.5 km, we turn right towards St. Peter and Tyrol Castle. Via Dorf Tirol, take the path back to Merano.

Nice and easy round. At the beginning you go through the village towards the castle. Do not use the path with the abbreviation there, as it is blocked. (see picture 2)

Otherwise easy and at the end back along the Moselle.

Very nice tour if you don't feel like high mountains.

From Merano via the Tapeinerweg to Grach and a little further on the Algunder Walweg, then up to Schloß Tirol and via Dorf Tirol via the Alte Tiroler Weg (not Tiroler Steig!) Back via Tapeinerweg to the church in Schenna and through the arbors to the parking garage.

Wonderful hike through the pastures on the Hirzer. To the Mahdalm via E5 and back the Almenweg.

Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻
